The list of must-do-things for your wedding could be long and tedious. This is where professional wedding coordinators come in—to categorize these “musts” and come up with a workable plan. Any well-planned affair must have a coordinator. It is no longer just “trendy” to engage a coordinator who is experienced, for instance, in negotiating contracts with caterers, florists, photographers, and other suppliers.
A coordinator helps you save valuable time and money. Coordinators do not make decisions for you. They, however, guide and help you make informed decisions on essential matters pertaining to your dream event. We, as your wedding coordinators, will flesh out any event that generates those beautiful memories in your life. Following is a list of daunting tasks common to every wedding. Just leave your worries with Events! Events! and let it do these things for you.
Assume that all the suppliers and vendors you need for the wedding have been prebooked. You’ve made all down payments for them too. Ergo, there is no need to look for suppliers and to canvass for prices. Will you still get a wedding coordinator? Why, of course—because weddings need more than just that.
To pick up from where you left, Events! Events! will be your Day Coordinator. As Day Coordinators, we:
• Make the necessary follow-ups with your suppliers at least two months before the wedding.
• Help in making the missalette for the wedding ceremony.
• Verify every supplier’s arrival and delivery of your requirements.
• Prepare the script to be used in the program.
• Provide unlimited advice and consultations via phone, fax or e-mail.
• Create a wedding timeline and set up a schematic for vendors.
• Allow the families of the respective bride and groom to enjoy their day—stress-free!!!
• Assist the bride in dressing up and in attending to her immediate needs.
At the church, we:
• Arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before the ceremony to meet vendors.
• Supervise the ceremony set-up.
• Organize the processional and recessional lines.
• Ensure that vendors’ contracted duties are performed prior to issuance of final payment, if applicable.
• Distribute missalettes to adult guests, making sure that all sponsors have their copies.
• Distribute flowers and copies of the processional line-up to the members of the wedding entourage.
• Hand veil, cord and lighter over to the secondary sponsors.
• Hand ring pillow, arrhae pillow and Bible over to their respective bearers.
• Distribute petal shower, confetti or bubble paraphernalia to guests.
At the hotel or reception venue, we:
• Oversee other wedding details.
• Organize the gift table, guest book table and program distribution.
• Usher guests to their seats.
• Make sure the reception runs smoothly.
• Organize presentation of the bridal party.
• Route the guest book while the guests are dining.
• Assist the photographer and/or videographer in documenting the different segments of the event.
• Oversee the cutting of the cake, toast, first dance, and garter and bouquet tosses.
• Distribute wedding souvenirs during the couple’s first dance.
Assuming that you only have a date and probable venues for the ceremony and the reception, would a Day Coordinator suffice? No, but Events! Events! can be your Full Coordinators, too.
As Full Coordinators, we do all the legwork to enable any couple to save on time and money. We even attend appointments for you. Moreover, we:
• Work out a calendar for the months preceding the wedding.
• Suggest professional and dependable vendors and help you choose those who perfectly match your needs.
• Review all contracts with vendors to ensure that you are thoroughly covered in any eventuality.
• Review all vendor contracts before you sign them.
• And ALL the tasks a Day Coordinator would do before the wedding, at the church, and at the reception venue. |
