| With a little under a decade of being friends, Brian and Ria finally tied the knot. Over 200 of their closest friends and family members witnessed their blessed union at Mary the Queen Parish Church in Greenhills officiated by Fr. Enrique Ma. Lalana, SJ.
The wedding actually started with backbreaking planning for several months. Being a hands-on bride, Ria attended to all the wedding details and made sure that their union would reflect their respective lifestyles. Ria walked down the aisle in a sheath gown covered by an opera coat in shantung silk featuring a standing collar and fabric covered buttons.
The guests were served cocktails at the foyer area of Pandango Ballroom. On cue, the guests were ushered into the wonderfully set-up ballroom by Angel Penarroyo of Tropical Blooms. Fresh tropical blooms placed on top of bamboo mats were used as centerpieces. Meanwhile, some centerpieces included live orchids securely placed in bamboo vases.
Guests were treated to a formal sit-down dinner consisting of Kani sticks and green asparagus cocktail, summer green with sherry vinaigrette; shrimp bisque with brandy foam; fusili pepperonata; calamansi sherbet; red snapper fillet in lemon basil sauce, parsely potato, garden peas, mushrooms and carrots; beef tips stroganoff, pilaf rice, bouquet of fresh vegetables; and cassata ice terrine ice terrine Napolitana. |
