| The invitation to the wedding was as unique as it could be. A multi-page, storybook-like invitation, it contained all the wedding details—from the principal cast to the entourage members. Produced by Amis Print, the invitation also featured embossed flower prints in pink reflective of the wedding theme. Hand calligraphy was used to inscribe the names of the invited guests.
On the day of her wedding, Sheila was stunning in a silk ivory fully beaded princess cut gown by Leonard Co that accentuated her model-like figure. She chose a beautiful bouquet of pink peonies and tulips while her entourage had a host of carnations, roses, mums and gerberas in different shades of pink.
The couple chose to celebrate the reception at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel. At the reception, the floral arrangements of towering calla lilies, gerberas, roses and carnations were conceptualized and wonderfully executed by Gina Galang of Royal Flower Shoppe.
An all-male vocal group, The Wiseguys, serenaded everyone over dinner with their relaxed rendition of contemporary pop music. The bride was hands-on with the wedding preparations making sure everything about the wedding was perfect—from picking out the excellently conceptualized, and crafted invitations and the souvenirs to choosing the menu (being the chef that she is) and the personalized covered chocolates which served as additional table decorations.
A five-tiered wedding cake by Dexter’s Bake Shop towered over the table set-ups. |
